Following the exciting announcement of the College expanding to a 7-12 school under the direction of Principal Stephen Mahoney, St Aloysius College Cronulla (formerly De La Salle Catholic College Cronulla) is proud to introduce two Deans to the leadership team, heralding in an exciting new era for the prestigious co-educational College.

  • Dean of Mission: Therese Hughes
  • Dean: Years 7-12 – Jon Cullerton

The new leadership approach is an example of Sydney Catholic Schools’ commitment to collaborative and innovative education that works to meet the needs of students and their communities.

The new structure will take effect in 2023.

The college is part of an exciting new development for Catholic secondary education in the eastern Shire, forming an interdependent learning precinct with Our Lady of Mercy Catholic College Burraneer (now expanding to a 7-12 girls school) and De La Salle Catholic College Caringbah (expanding to a 7-12 boys school). The new leadership teams of each College will work together to share teacher expertise, learning and cocurricular offerings and facilities to build a strong faith and education precinct for the Eastern shire’s Catholic families.

The College will be accepting its first Year 7 cohort in 2024. As the College grows to a full 7-12 school, a further Dean appointment will be made within the leadership structure. The 7-12 role will split to create a Dean for Years 7-9 and a Dean for Years 10-12, bringing the leadership structure in line with the other Precinct schools.
