Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate their Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.
St Aloysius College Cronulla promotes the values of faith, community, and service in all aspects of college life. The presence of the Brothers, the links with Lasallian groups, and the awareness of the founder, St John Baptist De La Salle, patron saint of teachers provide a framework in which we operate as a college community.
This Lasallian spirituality is nurtured within the community in many ways. Staff members formally and informally join for prayer every week acknowledging the founder. Students also pray as a community each day, and at assemblies and in liturgies, which further develops their understanding and appreciation of the Lassallian charism.
This Lasallian charism is the shared vision that links us together. This vision of De La Salle is developed within our college community. It is about a network of people working towards a common goal. It is based on a tribute to a man who had a vision.
It is about living a genuine life of faith, service, and community, and sharing that with others.
